National Parks

There are a large number of national parks in Kenya, which represent an important mainstay for tourism. The largest national park is Tsavo National Park, which is divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West. The well-known Masai Mara, the northern foothills of the Serengeti, is not formally a national park, but a nature reserve.

ere you will find a great wealth of animals, especially in the months of July and August, due to the herd migration of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes , buffalo and impala. Other significant national parks include Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Meru.

Not far from Mombasa is Tsavo East National Park. It is the largest national park in Kenya, East Africa.
