The property is furnished and built in a typical African style and is called Guesthouse Diani. It is located in a gated community and is surrounded by tropical nature. It is just a 300 meter walk to Diani Beach (Indian Ocean). Diani Beach is about 25 kilometers long, gently sloping, white sandy beach in the Indian Ocean in Kenya.
The Diani Beach and the Guesthouse Diani is about 35 km away from the second largest city in Kenya called Mombasa. From "Moi International Airport" in Mombasa you can take a taxi to the "Likoni Ferry" in about 10-20 minutes. The "Likoni Ferry" has been connecting Mombasa with the south coast for many years. The ferry ride takes about 5-10 minutes. The further journey on the A14 takes about 40 minutes to Diani Beach.
Your host in the guest house Hanke
Thomas Hanke is there for you as your host. Born in Germany, he lives and works in Kenya for most of the year. After living and working in Germany for years, he had his own African restaurant, among other things. In 2020 he decided to move the center of his life to Kenya.
Thomas Hanke speaks German, English and a little Swahili, so there shouldn't be any communication problems. He knows the country and the people.
